A joyful journey of the heart, Seven Rabbits combines meaningful children's stories with Native American Style Flute interludes.

Following 2 strokes in 1994, Jan Michael suffered horrible seizures at night for a couple of years. His 3 year old son witnessed many of them. Jan Michael began creating fun, inspirational stories of different colored rabbits with his son at bedtime to help them both go to sleep. This is a special collection of those stories.
SEVEN RABBITS tells a story about 6 young Bunnies of different colors eating dinner with the Elder Rabbit. Keeping with their tradition, each Bunny shares about their adventures or a story before they eat. One by one, they go around the table with the Elder Rabbit moderating the group.
At the conclusion of each story narrated by Jan Michael, he plays a brief musical interlude on a Native American Style Flute.
In 2007, Jan Michael worked with friend and flutemaker Brent Haines to produce the project with thousands of copies provided to children with cancer around the world.
The Children's Cancer Association presented Jan Michael with an award for the project and in the years that followed, he received thank you letters from parents and sometimes drawings from children.
Even though the album is designed for children, folks of all ages enjoy the stories.
